THE PROJECT
Purpose and scope
The platform connected two groups: young people aged 11–17 asking for help in a subject, and verified volunteer teachers or university students able to teach it. Learners could access free materials and courses in physics, chemistry and maths. Volunteers arranged online classes that were supervised and recorded. Our website work brought learning requests, resources and tutor coordination together.
The organisation and the young people it supported are not identified.

Learning requests
Young people could ask for help with a specific subject. Physics, chemistry and maths were supported alongside free courses and study materials.
Verified volunteers
The other side of the platform brought together verified volunteer teachers and university students, connecting their subject knowledge with learners’ requests.
Supervised online classes
Volunteers arranged online teaching sessions. Classes were supervised and recorded to support the learning process.
Architecture and implementation
We contributed to the analysis, architecture and website implementation, connecting learning resources, requests and volunteer coordination within the application.
